Stephen Malkmus

In the summer of 2007, Stephen Malkmus was riding high on the release of his third solo album, "Face the Truth" (2005), and still captivating audiences who once danced to his iconic band, Pavement. This live recording from the Pitchfork Music Festival showcases his signature blend of jangly melodies and introspective lyrics. By this time, Malkmus had firmly established himself as a solo artist while simultaneously building a bridge to his Pavement past.
