Rammstein

In June 2017, when Rammstein performed "Engel" at Rock im Park, the band was on the verge of a significant hiatus after their last album, "Made in Germany 1995–2011," which was a collection of their greatest hits, released in 2011. Following this, the band became largely inactive in terms of new music until they released their self-titled album in 2019. The performance at Rock im Park was part of their extensive concert tours that helped maintain their strong fanbase during this period of dormancy in new material. Notably, Rammstein is well-known for their elaborate live shows, featuring pyrotechnics and theatrical elements, which are integral to their performances and help to enhance the audience experience, as exemplified during this 2017 festival appearance.
