Umphrey’s McGee

In July 2009, when Umphrey’s McGee performed "Syncopated Strangers Part I" at the Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, the band was actively building their reputation as a leading force in the jam band scene. This performance occurred shortly after the release of their album "Mantis," which came out in February 2009.
