Umphrey’s McGee

On August 14, 2015, Umphrey’s McGee performed a live recording at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, showcasing their dynamic live sound and ability to blend various genres. Prior to this performance, the band released their studio album "Similar Skin" in June 2014, which marked their first album produced entirely without the guidance of an outside producer. This period was notable for the band as they were evolving their sound and pursuing a more collaborative songwriting approach. The inclusion of the Chicago Mass Choir as special guests during the Ravinia performance highlighted their penchant for unique live collaborations, further enriching their already diverse musical palette.
