Umphrey’s McGee

As of July 5, 2024, which is the date of the live recording at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, Umphrey's McGee was actively touring and consistently innovating their sound. Just prior to this performance, they had released the album "You Walked Up Shaking in Your Boots But You Stood Tall and Left a Raging Bull" in 2023, showcasing their eclectic style blending improvisation with rock, jazz, and various other genres. Notably, the band is renowned for their dynamic live performances and ability to seamlessly transition between songs, as exemplified in this recording with the medley from "Wizard Burial Ground" into "Suxity."
