Little Feat

In August 1974, Little Feat graced the NBC show 'Midnight Special', marking a pivotal moment in their journey. Just prior to this stunning performance, they released their album 'Dixie Chicken' in 1973, which showcased their unique blend of rock, blues, and country influences, capturing the essence of the Southern California sound. At this juncture, the band was gaining momentum, building a loyal fanbase thanks to their energetic live shows and Lowell George's compelling songwriting. An interesting tidbit: this appearance was their first on the show under the Little Feat banner, after previously performing as Bonnie Bramlett's backing band.
