Little Feat

In the summer of 1977, Little Feat was riding high on the wave of their critically acclaimed albums, with 'Waiting for Columbus' on the horizon. The band's signature blend of rock, blues, and funk made this live performance at the Rainbow Theatre in London a memorable showcase of their prowess. Just prior to this recording, they had released 'Feats Don't Fail Me Now' in 1974, which solidified their reputation as a unique and vibrant group. Interestingly, 'A Apolitical Blues,' the tune featured in this live video, was written by the band's charismatic frontman, Lowell George, and delivered by the talented Paul Barrere during the show. This concert became part of the later 'Waiting for Columbus' album, which is celebrated as one of the standout live recordings of the era, encapsulating the raw energy and musicianship that Little Feat was known for.
