Little Feat

On August 8, 1977, Little Feat delivered a stellar performance at Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C., capturing the essence of their live energy in the track "Skin It Back." This performance came just as the band was reaching a pivotal moment in their career, following the release of their acclaimed album "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" in 1974 and before the landmark live album "Waiting for Columbus," which came out in 1978. Interestingly, although this live recording didn't make it onto the studio versions, it showcases the tight musicianship and improvisational spirit that define Little Feat's sound, particularly with Paul Barrere on lead vocals. Fans often highlight this period as the peak of the band's creative output, blending rock, blues, and Southern-inspired grooves.
