Little Feat

In July 1990, Little Feat performed live at the Casino de Montreux, capturing a moment in their rich musical journey. This show came just after the release of their album "Representin' the Mambo" in 1990, which showcased their blend of rock, blues, and New Orleans-style music. Interestingly, the album marked a fresh start for the band after a period of turbulence, including lineup changes and the sad passing of founding member Lowell George. During the Montreux show, they performed staples like "Dixie Chicken" and included collaborations that highlighted their jam-band spirit, especially with Albert Collins joining in for a fiery performance. The energy of this live recording reflects the band’s resilience and creative rebirth, as they navigated the evolving music scene of the late '80s and early '90s.
