Little Feat

In July 1995, during this live performance of 'Skin It Back' in Salt Lake City, Little Feat was in a period of revitalization. Just before this, they released the album 'Under the Radar' in 1998, which was their first studio project since 1990's 'Representing the Mambo'. This live version showcases the band’s signature blend of rock, jazz, and funk, infused with a sense of spontaneity that defines their sound. Interestingly, this era for Little Feat marked a comeback—post the tragic loss of founding member Lowell George in 1979, the band had taken significant time to regroup and redefine their identity, making the 90s a pivotal decade for their musical renaissance.
