Bright Eyes

In September 2011, when Bright Eyes performed "We Are Nowhere, And It's Now" live at The Norva in Norfolk, they were fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed album *The People's Key*, which had dropped earlier that year in February. This album marked a distinct evolution for the band, blending Conor Oberst's introspective lyrics with a fuller, more polished sound, pushing the boundaries of their previous folk-infused style. Notably, *The People's Key* was their first release in nearly four years, signaling a comeback and calling back to their indie roots while exploring themes of technology and existence.
