Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes, led by the ever-talented Conor Oberst, was in a fascinating chapter of their journey when they performed "Ladder Song" live at The Union Event Center in Salt Lake City on June 28, 2022. This performance came shortly after the release of their critically acclaimed album *Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was*, which dropped in August 2020. That album marked their return after a long hiatus, showcasing a more mature sound and introspection that resonated with long-time fans and newcomers alike. Interestingly, this live performance featured Lynn Ligammari on tenor saxophone, adding a fresh layer of richness to the acoustic ambiance. It’s moments like these that remind us of Bright Eyes’ ability to evolve while still holding onto the threads of vulnerability and sincerity that have defined their music.
