Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes, led by the emotionally candid Conor Oberst, found themselves in a pivotal moment of their career around the time of the live recording on November 14, 2022. Just before this performance, they had released their album "Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was" in 2020. This album marked a significant return for the band after several years of hiatus, brimming with reflective and introspective songs that resonated deeply with fans navigating life’s complexities. Interestingly, during the Soundstage performance, the band delivered a poignant rendition of "Lover I Don’t Have to Love," a track from their earlier work, "Lifted or The Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground." This particular song highlights Oberst's knack for intertwining raw vulnerability with captivating melodies, exemplifying how Bright Eyes continually evolves while staying true to their emotional roots.
