The Smashing Pumpkins

On July 28, 2018, The Smashing Pumpkins performed at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, marking a pivotal moment in their career as they were in the midst of their "Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour." This tour supported their album “Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun,” which was released in November 2018. This album signified a rebirth for the band, reuniting original members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin for the first time in nearly 20 years, which was a significant milestone for fans and the band alike. The live recording showcases the band's resurgence and their exploration of both classic hits and new material. Notably, the 2018 tour was their first without founding guitarist Jeff Schroeder, emphasizing a return to their original lineup and hinting at a renewed creative focus.
