Nirvana

In November 1993, when Nirvana performed "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" during their MTV Unplugged session in New York, they had recently released their second studio album, "Nevermind," in 1991, which catapulted them to international fame. Prior to this live recording, the band had released "In Utero," their third and final studio album, just a month earlier in September 1993. This performance showcased a somber and introspective side of Nirvana, highlighting their skillful musicianship without the heavy distortion characteristic of their studio work.
