The Smashing Pumpkins

In June 2019, The Smashing Pumpkins were riding high on the release of their album "Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun." which had come out just a few months earlier, in November 2018. This album marked a significant moment for the band as it was their first major release since the reformation of the classic lineup, featuring iconic frontman Billy Corgan and original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin. "Superchrist," performed at the Rock AM Ring Festival, showcases the band's ability to blend nostalgia with fresh energy, and the festival itself has a reputation for drawing massive crowds eager to see some of the biggest names in rock.
