The Smashing Pumpkins

On June 11, 2019, The Smashing Pumpkins delivered a powerful live performance at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, showcasing their enduring influence in the alt-rock scene. At this point in their career, they were touring in support of their album *Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun*, which was released in November 2018. This album marked a significant return for the band, being their first since reuniting original members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin, effectively reigniting their creative spark after years of lineup changes and hiatuses. Interestingly, during this tour, the band was known for blending classic tracks with fresh material, creating an exciting dynamic for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
