Prior to this live recording, they released the album "Can’t Slow Down" in 2009, which showcased their continued relevance in the rock scene with a blend of new material and classic influences. Interestingly, this period marked a significant chapter for Foreigner as it featured the return of lead vocalist Kelly Hansen, who had been with the band since 2005. The unplugged format of the concert highlighted their versatility and showcased a more intimate side of their music, allowing fans to connect with familiar hits like "Double Vision" and "Starrider" in an acoustic setting, emphasizing their timeless appeal and adaptability in the evolving music landscape.
