Interestingly, during this period, they were gaining traction, thanks in part to their association with the burgeoning grunge movement, even if they didn’t yet fit neatly within that label. The songs performed at this live recording, including "Hunted Down" and "Smokestack Lightning," showcased their raw energy and introduced audiences to their heavy riffs and Chris Cornell's soaring vocals.
