Soundgarden

In July 2014, when Soundgarden hit the stage at Lollapalooza Chile, they were building on a resurgent wave in their career, following their 2012 album, *King Animal*. It was their first studio album in 16 years, and it marked a significant comeback for the band after their breakup in 1997. The live performance includes powerful renditions of “Jesus Christ Pose” and “Outshined,” both of which are fan favorites from their earlier work on *Badmotorfinger*, released back in ’91. It’s fascinating to see how Soundgarden manages to weave nostalgia with their newer sound, showcasing their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Plus, this festival was one of the highlights of their tour, capturing their immense energy and solidifying their place in the rock landscape once again. It’s moments like these that remind us why we fell in love with them in the first place!
