The Beach Boys

In June 2014, The Beach Boys performed a lively set at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, including their iconic hit, "Good Vibrations." By this point in their career, they were primarily touring to celebrate their legacy, having released "That's Why God Made the Radio" just two years earlier, in 2012. This album marked the band's first studio release in over two decades and was a nostalgic nod to their classic sound, featuring all the original members. Interestingly, 2014 coincided with their 50th anniversary, which brought a renewed interest in their music and led to a series of celebratory concerts. These performances not only showcased their timeless harmonies but also highlighted how deeply woven The Beach Boys are into the fabric of American music history, proving that their spirit and vibe continue to resonate with fans, old and new.
