The Beach Boys

In the summer of 2017, The Beach Boys were riding a wave of nostalgia, performing at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater in Fishers, Indiana. Before this live recording of 'Kokomo', the band had released 'That’s Why God Made the Radio' in 2012, marking their first album of new material in over two decades. This album not only celebrated their classic sound but also featured the harmonious blend that they've been known for, reminiscent of their earlier hits. It’s interesting to note that by 2017, while the lineup had changed significantly since their heyday, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and Bruce Johnston continued to share their iconic sound with fans. The Beach Boys, over the decades, have become synonymous with America's beach culture, and this performance kept that legacy alive, capturing the joyous spirit of their music.
