Before this performance, the band released their album "That's Why God Made the Radio" in 2012, marking their first studio album in over two decades. The album was well-received, fueled by nostalgia and the iconic harmonies the band is loved for. Interestingly, the Wild Honey Tour reflects their deep connection to their roots, celebrating not only the classic hits but also their venture into more soulful sounds that emerged in the late ’60s. With Mike Love leading the group, this live recording serves as a testament to their enduring legacy and ability to still captivate audiences worldwide.
