In the summer of 2018, the Beach Boys brought their iconic harmonies to Montreal during the Just for Laughs Festival, reminding everyone just how timeless their music really is. Before this live performance, the Beach Boys had released an album called 'Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys' in 2003, which compiled many of their classic hits. Interestingly, despite the extensive history and lineup changes over the decades, the live sessions continue to showcase the enduring spirit of the band, with original member Mike Love leading the charge. This concert in Montreal wasn't just another gig; it was a celebration of a legacy built on California sunshine, surf culture, and lyrical storytelling that spans generations, proving that their music still resonates powerfully, even years later.
