Dead & Company

On June 15, 2019, Dead & Company performed at Wrigley Field in Chicago, where they showcased a vibrant set, including the beloved trio of "Help on the Way," "Slipknot," and "Franklin's Tower." Leading up to this live recording, the band had released their studio album "The Final Tour: Fare Thee Well" in 2015, which marked a significant point in their musical journey, bringing together band members from the original Grateful Dead. By 2019, the group was well-established as a continuation of the Grateful Dead legacy, featuring prominent members like Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, and guitarist John Mayer, who had been infused with the spirit of the original band. This concert was part of their extensive ongoing touring schedule and helped solidify their reputation for dynamic live performances, illustrating their connection with audiences through improvisational jams and heartfelt renditions of classic material.
