On July 30, 2016, Dead & Company graced the Shoreline Amphitheater with a vibrant performance of "Terrapin Station," showcasing their timeless blend of improvisation and rock 'n' roll energy. This live recording came shortly after the release of their 2016 album, "Dead & Company: Live at the Fillmore East," which celebrated their roots while exploring new interpretations of classic Grateful Dead songs. Interestingly, this period marked a significant resurgence for the band, uniting former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann with talented newcomers like guitarist John Mayer. Fans were thrilled not only by the soulful renditions but also by the fresh energy injected into these beloved tracks.
