Eagles of Death Metal

In June 2012, when Eagles of Death Metal performed at the Hurricane Festival, they were promoting their album "Heart On," which had been released in October 2008. This period marked a significant moment in their career as they were still gaining traction and establishing their presence in the rock scene after a few years of touring and gaining a dedicated fan base. The performance at the festival showcased the band’s energetic style and distinctive blend of rock and roll, capturing the attention of both new and existing fans. Notably, their live performances are known for their engaging atmosphere, largely due to frontman Jesse Hughes’ charismatic stage presence. Around this time, the band was also recognized for their resilience and ability to connect with audiences, which would become even more pronounced following the tragic events in Paris in 2015.
