The Hold Steady

On August 26, 2010, The Hold Steady delivered a riveting performance of "Stuck Between Stations" at The Glass House in Pomona, California. At this point in their career, the band had just released their fifth studio album, "Heaven Is Whenever," earlier that year. This album marked a new chapter for the group as it was their first without longtime keyboardist Franz Nicolay, who had left before the recording. Fans were eager to hear how their sound evolved, and the energy captured in this live set reflects that transition beautifully. Interestingly, "Stuck Between Stations" originally appeared on their 2006 album, "Boys and Girls in America," showcasing how the band continued to celebrate older material while forging ahead into new creative territory.
