The Hold Steady

On August 15, 2019, The Hold Steady performed "Entitlement Crew" live at the KEXP studio in Seattle, showcasing their signature blend of narrative-driven rock. At this point in their career, the band had released their sixth studio album, *Thrashing Thru the Passion*, just a month earlier, on August 16, 2019. This album marked a significant return for the band, featuring a renewed energy and exploration of themes central to their work, including resilience and connection. Notably, *Thrashing Thru the Passion* consists of new tracks and previously released songs, reflecting their creative journey since their 2014 album. The live performance at KEXP exemplified their strong fan engagement and highlighted the band's lyrical storytelling prowess, which has been a hallmark of their music since their inception, as well as their celebrated live performances.
