By this time, the band had released their sixth studio album, 'Hand It Over,' in 1997, which reflected a more subdued and introspective style compared to their earlier work. Interestingly, this live recording features the band playing 'Just Like Heaven,' a classic track originally by The Cure, illustrating their knack for adding a grunge twist to beloved tunes. It’s a remarkable moment that captures their raw energy and evolving sound, coming just as they were reestablishing themselves after a challenging period and transitioning back to a more solidified lineup, including the original trio of J. Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph.
