As of July 19, 2024, Primus was in the midst of their latest summer tour, showcasing their distinctive blend of funk metal and experimental sound to electrify fans at the picturesque McMenamins Historic Edgefield Manor in Troutdale, Oregon. Right before this live recording, they released their album "The Desaturating Seven" in 2017, a whimsical concept album inspired by a children’s book, which marked their return to the studio after a lengthy hiatus. Interestingly, this live show highlights Primus's unique stage banter as well, particularly with Les Claypool’s playful interactions.
