Mission of Burma

Just prior to this recording, they had released 'Vs.' in 1982, an album that cemented their reputation as pioneers of the genre, blending dissonant melodies with an emotional punch. The rawness of their live performance perfectly captured the essence of the era, reflecting the band's commitment to pushing boundaries both on stage and in the studio. Interestingly, this performance was part of their final tour before their initial breakup later that same year. The later release of 'The Horrible Truth About Burma' in 2008 included this live set, allowing a new generation to experience the intensity that defined their early work.
