Built to Spill

Built to Spill was riding high on the waves of their critical acclaim when they performed "Third Uncle" at the Chameleon Club on July 3, 2007. Just before this live recording, they released their album "You in Reverse," which hit the shelves in 2006. This album marked a pivotal moment for the band, showcasing their signature blend of indie rock and intricate melodies, while also signaling their return after a lengthy hiatus since their previous release in 2001. The Lancaster show features Jason Albertini, who brought an extra layer of rhythm to the performance with additional drums—a fun nod to the band’s collaborative spirit. And speaking of collaboration and innovation, it's worth noting that Doug Martsch, the band's frontman, has always had an ear for covers, breathing new life into Brian Eno’s work.
