Dead & Company

On June 23, 2016, Dead & Company delivered a spirited performance at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA, which was part of their summer tour that year. Before this concert, they had released their debut studio album, "Dead & Company: Live at the Wiltern," in early 2016. This live album was not just a nod to their roots but also showcased their ability to connect with both old and new fans after forming in 2015. With members like Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and John Mayer, the group crafted a fresh take on classic Grateful Dead songs, including the beloved "Cold Rain and Snow" featured in this performance. Interestingly, the concert coincided with a time of growing popularity, highlighting their successful transition from tribute to a mainstay in the jam band scene, akin to getting that second wind on a long, enjoyable road trip.
