Dead & Company

In June 2017, Dead & Company delivered an electrifying performance at the Shoreline Amphitheater, an iconic venue for many legendary shows. Leading up to this live recording, the band had recently released their album "Dead & Company: 2016 Tour", showcasing their distinctive mix of classic Grateful Dead tunes infused with fresh energy. By this point, they were enjoying a renaissance of sorts, capturing both old fans and new listeners alike. The June 4th show was part of a summer tour that demonstrated their ever-growing chemistry and musicianship, making it a special moment on their tour. Interestingly, fans had the chance to stream parts of the concert live, a move that really highlighted how technology was changing the concert experience. It’s fascinating to witness how this band continues to revive and celebrate the spirit of the Grateful Dead while carving their own path in the music landscape.
