Dead & Company

In April 2025, when Dead & Company performed "Scarlet Begonias" at the Sphere in Las Vegas, they were riding high on the momentum of their 2023 album, "The Final Tour," released in June of that year. This album captured the spirit of their last tour together, intertwining nostalgia with fresh interpretations of classic Grateful Dead tracks. Dead & Company, formed in 2015 and comprising former Grateful Dead members along with talented musicians, has continually kept the essence of the original music alive while introducing it to new generations. The Sphere concert not only showcased their impressive improvisational skills but also highlighted their ability to connect emotionally with the audience, encapsulating the magic and community that the Grateful Dead culture embodies. It's worth noting that this performance came just a few days before the band's much-anticipated final shows, adding a poignant layer to the experience.
