In November 1994, when Mazzy Star performed "Halah" live at the Metro in Chicago, they were in the midst of promoting their second studio album, "So Tonight That I Might See," which was released in 1993. "So Tonight That I Might See" featured the hit single "Fade Into You," which would later become synonymous with Mazzy Star's ethereal sound.
