Mazzy Star

In January 1994, during the live acoustic performance at MTV Studios in New York, Mazzy Star was experiencing significant acclaim following the release of their album "So Tonight That I Might See." This album, which came out in late 1993, features their most famous single, "Fade Into You," which the band performed in this live session. The song has since become emblematic of the band's dreamy, melancholic sound and showcases vocalist Hope Sandoval's hauntingly beautiful voice complemented by David Roback’s ethereal instrumentation.
