Mazzy Star

On October 2, 1994, Mazzy Star was in the midst of their career following the release of their second studio album, "So Tonight That I Might See," which came out in 1993. This album features some of their most well-known tracks, including "Fade Into You," which helped to solidify the band's signature dream pop and alternative rock sound. The live recording from the Shoreline Amphitheatre captures the band's ethereal atmosphere and intimate performance style, characteristic of their appeal during this period. Notably, Mazzy Star's music was distinguished by the haunting vocals of Hope Sandoval and the atmospheric guitar work of David Roback.
