Before the release of the 'Guster on Ice' live DVD, which featured performances from December 2003, Guster had just released their studio album 'Keep It Together' in 2003. This album marked a significant period as it represented their evolution towards a more polished sound, while retaining their signature blend of folk-rock and alternative styles. The concert itself, held at the iconic State Theatre in Portland, Maine, was a special two-night event showcasing the band's energetic performances and tight harmonies.
